About the Role:

One of my local government clients is seeking a dedicated and reliable Grounds Worker to join our team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and appearance of public spaces across the county.

You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of grounds maintenance tasks to a high standard, ensuring local parks, green spaces, and public areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained for the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Grounds maintenance duties such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, strimming, weeding, planting, and general upkeep of green spaces

*

Safe use and basic maintenance of groundskeeping tools and machinery

*

Removal of litter and debris from public areas

*

Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

*

Working independently or as part of a small team under the direction of a supervisor

Requirements:

Physically fit and able to carry out manual outdoor work in all weather conditions

*

Full valid UK driving licence – essential for travel between sites

*

Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar role is desirable but not essential

*

A positive, can-do attitude and ability to work reliably and responsibly
