Forklift Operative

Pay Rate: GBP13.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday 06 00 or 07 00

Streamline Services are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well–established building materials company, for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Yard & Production Operative. This is a 13–week temp–to–perm role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful probation period.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating a counterbalance forklift (valid, in–date licence required)

Loading and unloading lorries for inbound and outbound deliveries

Yard operations, including stock movement and general site upkeep

Putting away products into designated locations

Assisting with general warehouse duties including tidying, labelling, and scanning

Supporting light production tasks including cut–and–bend, metalwork, and handling 4 5 metre monotube

Completing 5 15 tasks per day, following work instructions with attention to detail

Ideal Candidate:

Holds a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence

Physically fit and comfortable with active, hands–on duties

Methodical and meticulous, with a focus on quality and consistency

Enjoys working independently and managing their own workload with minimal supervision

Willing to learn and take on new production–based skills full training provided

Must have own transport due to site location
