Export Clerk / Administrator - Freight Forwarding
Location: Purfleet Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30 (40 hours/week, unpaid lunch break) Employment Type: Permanent Salary: Starting from GBP30,000 per annum ? Benefits Include:
50% contribution towards Private HealthcareCashback Health Plan20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Export Clerk/Administrator to join our clients established Freight Forwarding team based in Purfleet. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a respected and hardworking group committed to delivering outstanding service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and managing export documentationCompleting customs entries (limited part of the role)Handling Air Waybills (AWBs) and House Air Waybills (HAWBs)Generating and processing invoicesProviding quotations to both existing and prospective clientsCommunicating with customers and overseas agentsCarrying out general administrative duties What We're Looking For:
A highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong computer literacy and excellent interpersonal skillsPrevious experience in export and customer service within the freight industry is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidateA proactive and self-sufficient approach to work
