D or D1 Drivers Urgently Required–Exciting New Contracts

TransportConnect Ltd places a great emphasis on looking after our customers but also looking after one another. As our contracts continue to expand, there are two positions currently available starting immediately in the Grantham–Newark area.

We urgently need D Licence and D1 Licence Drivers.

TransportConnect Ltd delivers CallConnect Transport to give people from all walks of life, accessibility to their community. If you are a focussed individual who enjoys driving and caring for people in the wider community, please apply. The hourly rate for a driver from the 01 April 2025 will be circa GBP12.86 per hour.

We are looking to employ people who hold a current D or D1 licence, full current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. A full enhanced DBS check will be performed on any successful candidates.

There is a career progression in Passenger Service Transport from 8–Seater, to D1, D and from there movement to Lead Driver, Supervisor, Office based CPC holder up to Transport Manager. It is a sector of work for any age of committed hardworking individual.

Our School Contracts for Special Educational Needs Children 06:45 – 09:00 and 14:30 – 17:00 (varies according to the contract) CallConnect Contracts have two shift patterns 06:45 – 12:00 and 12:00 – 19:00 OR 07:00 – 19:00 with breaks given according to Drivers Hours Legislation D or D1 License with current CPC and LCC DBS would be ideal but not essential.
