7.5T Driver Argos
Temp to Perm Opportunity
Pay rate: 13.37
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced 7.5T Driver to become an integral part of their team. This role involves driving and lifting, providing a vital service as part of a two–man crew. The successful candidate will be responsible for making approximately 45 drops per shift, ensuring timely and safe delivery of items to their customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle on scheduled routes.
Complete up to 45 multi–drop deliveries per shift.
Lift and deliver items up to 160 kg using appropriate lifting aids.
Ensure compliance with tachograph regulations and maintain accurate manual entries.
Work collaboratively with a partner driver to provide excellent customer service.
Shift Pattern:
Five days on, three days off
Options: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday
Start Time: 06:00
Average Hours: 48 hours per week
Requirements:
Valid 7.5T driving license and CPC certification.
Digital tachograph card.
Proven experience in multi–drop driving.
Ability to lift heavy items and use lifting aids safely.
Strong understanding of tachograph compliance and manual entry.
Excellent communication skills and a customer–focused attitude.
Additional Information:
A drug & alcohol test will be required before your assessment.
Initial probation period of three months.
