Our client is on the lookout for an experienced HR Business Partner to join the team.

This position will sit across both the Wolverhampton and Banbury sites therefore we are open on where you’re located, however you will need to be able to travel to both of these sites on a regular basis.

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will support one of our Value Streams within the Actuation Systems business. Working closely with Functional Leadership and the Operations Management team, the role requires the ability to influence others in order to drive through initiatives and requirements.

You will be part of the wider HR Team and also embedded as a core part of the leadership team for your Value Stream. You will be empowered to work autonomously, interpreting People principles to achieve the best outcomes for your business area.

Your Responsibilities

Work as a strategic partner to the leaders within your Value Stream, advising and pro-actively anticipating their people needs
Design and deliver strategic resourcing plans / workforce trends based on capacity plans
Own the people lifecycle within your business area
Be responsible for People compliance and governance within your business area
Coach and provide feedback to empower and up-skill managers to drive a performance management culture.
Understand employee engagement and use your experience to drive engagement initiatives and make sure action plans are in place to create a great place to work for all
Help teams develop strong diversity and inclusion practices
Drive excellence throughout the organisation by assessing and developing talent
Ensure the Value Stream organisational design is fit for purpose and orchestrate re-structuration where appropriate.
Drive all areas of performance reviews and goal setting for your area

Experience and Skills

Appropriate degree, and/or CIPD qualified
Ability to deal with ambiguity
Must be detail conscious, highly organised and able to plan effectively
Strong influencing skills, be a confident relationship builder
Able to manage conflict and resistance effectively
Flexible outlook towards changing tasks and priorities shown by a willingness to undertake HR special projects as needed
Needs to be a confident and clear communicator using both written and verbal skills
Must be action oriented and possess a drive for results
Numerically and logically driven
Expert Excel skills
