Job Description:
As a Plumbing and Gas Engineer at First fix construction, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and gas appliances in residential and commercial and residential properties. This is a full-time position that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for providing outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
- Install and maintain gas appliances, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics for plumbing and gas systems.
- Respond to emergency calls and provide timely solutions to plumbing and gas issues.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Valid Plumbing and Gas Engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3, Gas Safe registered).
- Proven experience in plumbing and gas engineering.
- Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license.
