Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join our high-performing Agriculture curriculum team at Cannington. Agriculture is a dynamic and thriving part of our land-based provision, attracting a large and diverse cohort of students from across the region. We are proud of our reputation for delivering outstanding teaching and learning, and for equipping our learners with the practical skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their agricultural education and careers.

We are committed to supporting the development of new teaching talent. The successful candidate will be fully sponsored to undertake a Level 5 teacher training qualification, and will benefit from a reduced teaching load over the two-year contract to allow time for study and professional development.

No prior teaching or training experience is required. You will be mentored by experienced members of our curriculum team and supported through a structured development programme, gaining valuable classroom and practical teaching experience to become a confident and capable educator.

The Trainee Teacher role plays a key part in raising student aspirations, delivering high-quality learning experiences, and contributing to the continued success and excellence of our Agriculture provision.
