Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant (SEN Support) – West Bromwich
Start Date: January 2026
Location: West Bromwich, West Midlands
Are you passionate about making a real difference in a student’s life? We’re looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in West Bromwich, starting January 2026.
Role Overview:
You will provide 1:1 support to a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access the curriculum, build confidence, and thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored support to a student with SEN on a 1:1 basis
*
Assist in planning and delivering learning activities
*
Monitor and report on student progress
*
Work closely with teachers and the SEN team to implement individualized learning plans
*
Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment
Requirements:
*
Previous experience supporting students with SEN (preferred but not essential; full training provided)
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*
Patience, empathy, and dedication to student success
*
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a school team
