Contract: Full-time, long-term

Daily Rate: £90-£110 per day

About the Role

A warm and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a pupil in Reception. The role begins on 3rd November and offers the chance to make a lasting impact in a nurturing Early Years setting.

The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support the child's academic, social, and emotional development, helping them to engage confidently with daily classroom routines.

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one support for a child in Reception.

Encourage learning through play and structured activities.

Support communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction.

Work collaboratively with the class teacher and support staff.

Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in Early Years or KS1.

Understanding of early childhood development and learning support strategies.

Patient, nurturing, and proactive approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
