As a Learning Support Assistant in this special educational needs school environment, you will play a crucial role in supporting students aged 11-19 through their educational journey. Your responsibilities will include providing individualised assistance to students, both one-on-one and in small groups, catering to their unique learning needs.

The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience working with special educational needs or in a care setting, demonstrating a compassionate and supportive approach. Building trust with students who may have difficulty connecting with others is key, so strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly form meaningful relationships are essential.

In addition to supporting students academically, you will also be responsible for managing behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and conducive learning environment for all.
