Primary Teaching Assistant – SEN Support Focus – Hull

We’re looking for fantastic Teaching Assistants across Hull to support primary-aged pupils in a range of school settings—with a particular focus on those with additional needs. If you’re calm, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping every child thrive, this could be a brilliant fit for you.

Many of our schools are looking for TAs who can work 1:1 with pupils who need extra support—whether that’s due to autism, speech and language needs, or social, emotional and mental health challenges. You’ll be helping them stay focused, manage their day, and feel safe, seen and supported throughout.

No two children are the same, and no two days are either—but if you’re the kind of person who can bring consistency, warmth, and a steady presence, you’ll be incredibly valued.

You may also be supporting across the wider classroom—helping to deliver lessons, guide small groups, and be that extra pair of hands that teachers rely on. You don’t need to be an expert—just someone who’s happy to get stuck in and cares about doing right by the children in front of you.
