Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Year 3 Class

Ad Hoc / Supply Teaching Assistant – Across All Year Groups

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract Type: One full-time position and one ad hoc supply role (approximately three days per week)

Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Sheffield is looking to appoint two enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join its supportive team.

Role 1: Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Year 3

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support learning, deliver small group interventions, and help create an engaging and nurturing classroom environment.

Role 2: Ad Hoc / Supply Teaching Assistant – All Year Groups

We are also seeking a flexible and reliable individual to provide supply cover across different year groups, supporting a range of pupils and classroom settings on an ad hoc basis (average three days per week).

We are looking for someone who:

Is passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing

Works well as part of a team and uses initiative

Communicates effectively with staff and pupils

Adapts well to different classrooms and learning needs

Holds or is working towards a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 3 TA)
