About the Role

Tradewind recruitment are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join friendly and supportive secondary school communities on the Wirral. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive learning.

Provide one–to–one or small–group support to pupils who may need additional guidance.

Help prepare classroom materials and maintain a positive learning environment.

Assist with behaviour management and promote the school's values throughout the day.

Contribute to the wider school community, including playground supervision and school activities.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children in an educational or similar setting.

Is patient, proactive, and able to adapt to different learning needs.

Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills.

Shows a genuine commitment to supporting pupils' progress and wellbeing.

Holds (or is willing to work towards) a relevant TA qualification.
