THE ROLE – Teaching Assistant (Cover Support)

As a Cover Support Teaching Assistant, your role will be to provide classroom support in Year 3 in the absence of the main class teacher. This may include delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting individual pupils or small groups to stay on task. You will need to be confident leading a class independently when required, as well as working alongside teachers, and working 1:1. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, organised and calm under pressure.
