Teacher of Science – Biology – Manchester

Pay: 168– 260 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full–time, Long–term, temp to perm.

Start: 5th January 2026

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher (any specialism) to join a thriving and supportive school community in Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a well–resourced, forward–thinking environment.

As a Teacher of Science, you will play a key role in inspiring and engaging pupils through creative and inclusive teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculumDifferentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needsFoster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes progress and wellbeingMonitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and supportCollaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure each child reaches their full potentialContribute to school life through involvement in extracurricular activities and initiatives

The ideal Teacher of Science will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT with placement experienceDemonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and child developmentBe confident in behaviour management and classroom organisationBring creativity, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills to the roleHave a commitment to raising achievement and supporting the wider school community
