SEN Teaching Assistant - Year 3 - Hillingdon

Start Date: September 2025

Location: Hillingdon, West London

Hours: 8:15am - 3:45pm (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)

Daily Rate: £95

Contract: September to Christmas (with potential to extend through the academic year)

The Role

SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a well-organised, forward-thinking primary school in Hillingdon seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil with autism on a one-to-one basis. The role starts in September 2025 and will initially run until Christmas, though there is a likelihood it will continue for the remainder of the year.

This is a full-time position, supporting the child both in class and during transitions, while helping them develop essential learning, communication, and social skills.

Ideal Candidate

Previous experience working with children with autism or additional needs

Familiarity with the Year 2 or Year 3 curriculum is advantageous

Calm, dependable, and able to provide clear and consistent support

Excellent listening and communication skills

Able to follow guidance while using initiative when needed
