Based in Bethnal Green, we are looking for an experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant to help promote the creative subjects, work alongside the teachers, and help every child shine!

Requirements:

Experience supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in a classroom setting.Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).Basic literacy and numeracy skills (GCSEs in English and Maths, or equivalent).Knowledge of SEND strategies (e.g., differentiation, behaviour support, positive handling).Ability to work one–to–one or in small groups with pupils.Good communication and teamwork skills to liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and parents.DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain). Desirable skills for this role:

Ability to adapt teaching materials and activities to meet individual pupil needs.Experience with assistive technology or learning support software.Behaviour management strategies tailored for children with SEND.Observation and assessment skills to monitor pupil progress.Strong empathy and patience when supporting pupils with additional needs.Creative approaches to engage pupils in learning.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
