The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary SEN school in Lambeth. The school caters to pupils aged 9–19 with a range of learning difficulties, including autism and social communication needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils both in and out of the classroom, helping them access a broad and practical curriculum. You’ll be expected to use visual aids, communication tools, and mindfulness strategies to support emotional regulation and engagement.

This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in SEN settings, particularly with pupils who benefit from a Total Communication Environment and structured emotional support.
