Role Overview

Start Date: January 2026Salary: 30,000 – 50,000 (Inner London Pay Scale)Location: Borough of IslingtonPosition: KS1/KS2 SEN Teacher – SEN Primary SchoolClass Size: Small groups with additional teaching assistant supportDevelopment: Excellent training, CPD opportunities & clear career progression

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a well–established school in Islington. You will lead a KS1/KS2 SEN class of pupils with a range of additional needs, supported by experienced teaching assistants and a nurturing leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Take the lead in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through targeted interventions and personalised strategiesPlan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needsCarry out interventions to help pupils develop communication, social, and academic skillsWork closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to ensure holistic supportPromote both academic progress and personal development for each childContribute to the inclusive, child–centred ethos of the school
