Science Teacher – Southport

Start: January 2026 (or earlier if available)

Pay: To scale ( 170– 250 per day DOE)

Contract: Until the end of the academic year

Spencer Clarke Group are working closely with a well–regarded secondary school in Southport who are seeking a committed Science Teacher to join their team from January, with the option to start earlier for the right candidate.

This is a full–time role covering the remainder of the academic year, teaching Science across KS3 and KS4. The school is looking for someone who can inspire students, deliver high–quality lessons, and contribute positively to the wider school community.

The Role:

Deliver engaging and well–structured Science lessons

Teach across KS3–KS4 (specialism welcomed but not essential)

Plan, mark and assess in line with school policies

Create a supportive and purposeful learning environment

Participate in departmental meetings and wider school responsibilities

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching Science at secondary level

Strong behaviour management and classroom practice

Ability to start in January or sooner
