Are you a caring and adaptable individual with a passion for making a real difference in the lives of students with diverse needs?

Academics is currently seeking dedicated SEN Support Workers to join a specialist school in Wickford.

The Role:

You'll be supporting students with a wide range of additional needs, including:

Physical disabilities, severe learning difficulties (SLD), and profound multiple learning difficulties (PMLD)

Autism, moderate learning difficulties (LD), dyslexia, and dyspraxia

Sight and hearing impairmentsKey Responsibilities:

Provide personalised support for students, including assistance with mobility, feeding, and changing where required

Support pupils' learning, communication, and social development

Adapt approaches to meet individual learning and care needs

Build a nurturing, safe, and positive environment where all students can thrive

Engage learners in fun, creative ways - a drama or playful background is always a plus!Ideal Candidate:

Compassionate, patient, and adaptable

Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school or care background welcomed)

Comfortable with personal care and routine-based support
