Registered Manager - Children's Home

Description

We Care Bespoke are looking for an experienced Children’s Home Manager with a proven track record of leading Ofsted rated Good (or above) children’s home(s) and effective leadership and management to build and maintain an effective team across the services.

This exciting and unique opportunity is to start up and manage one Solo Children’s home's located in Gateshead.

This Solo Children’s home is registered for complex social and emotional behavioural difficulties.

We work closely with a psychological service to provide a therapeutic service tailored to each individual child and to work closely with the staff team.

The role is Monday - Friday with flexibility to support the needs of the home. The candidate will be required to be part of an on call rota which you will receive an additional payment.

*Essential Criteria:*

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management Children and Young People’s Services in the children and young people’s residential management pathway or equivalent to

* 2 years (within the last 5) of relevant experience to residential care of children

* At least 2 years of management or leadership experience

· Excellent knowledge

* Excellent communication skills

* Excellent record keeping and documentation.

* Effective management and leadership skills

* Effective Time Management
