Reception Teaching Assistant – Inspiring Early Years Opportunity!

95 per day (increasing to 116 after 12 weeks)

SANZA Teaching Agency is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Reception Teaching Assistant to join a thriving Hackney primary school renowned for its creativity, inclusivity, and warm community feel.

If you're passionate about early years education and love the outdoors, this could be the perfect role for you – the school boasts its very own Forest School, offering children rich, hands–on learning experiences in nature every week.

Your Role:

As part of the Reception team, you'll play a key role in supporting children's early development, curiosity, and independence. Working closely with the class teacher, you'll:

Lead and support small–group and whole–class activities across the EYFS curriculumDeliver engaging phonics and early reading sessionsProvide one–to–one or small–group support to children with additional needs, including personal care if requiredProvide one–to–one or small–group support to children with additional needs, including personal care if required

Foster a nurturing, positive atmosphere that encourages confidence and exploration

Collaborate with an experienced Early Years team committed to creative and inclusive learning

About You:

Proven experience in an EYFS or Reception settingConfident in delivering phonics and early learning interventionsEnthusiastic, patient, and child–centred in your approachComfortable supporting children with personal care when neededA proactive, flexible team player who thrives in a busy, creative environment Why You'll Love This Role
