Qualified Nursery Staff Wanted – Burton & Swadlincote Area

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, caring, and qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our friendly and supportive early years teams in the Burton and Swadlincote areas.

Position: Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified)

Location: Burton upon Trent / Swadlincote

Job Type: Full–time / Part–time / Flexible shifts available

Salary: Competitive, dependent on qualifications and experience

About the Role:

You will play a key role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will support children's early development through play–based learning and positive engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high–quality care and education in line with EYFS guidelines

Plan and support engaging activities tailored to children's needs

Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment

Monitor and record children's development and progress

Requirements:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)

Previous nursery or early years experience preferred

Sound knowledge of EYFS framework

A caring, patient, and proactive attitude

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
