ABC Teachers are seeking a dynamic and committed Maths Teacher to join a SEND school, based in Solihull.

The Role

You will teach small groups of learners who may be working below age–related expectations, adapting the curriculum to ensure it is meaningful, relevant, and appropriately challenging. Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons for KS3 and KS4 pupils, ensuring learning is accessible and differentiated.Teach a range of accredited pathways at KS4 (e.g., Entry Level, Functional Skills, GCSE where appropriate).Use creative strategies and practical approaches to develop pupils confidence and numeracy skills.Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support pupils needs.Track progress closely and provide clear, supportive feedback to learners.Contribute to the development of personalised learning plans and EHCP targets.Create a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment that promotes independence and resilience. About You

We are looking for someone who:

Is a qualified teacher (PGCE/QTS/QTLS essential).Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for making Maths accessible and enjoyable.Has experience working with pupils with SEND or a strong desire to develop their practice in a specialist setting.Can differentiate effectively and use a range of teaching and behaviour–regulation strategies.Is patient, reflective, and committed to helping young people overcome barriers to learning.Works well as part of a collaborative and compassionate team. Requirements

As a suitable Maths Teacher, you will:

Have a suitable qualification (QTS/QLTS).Have experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities.Be confident in your abilities and skills to promote happy and confident learners.Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
