Tradewind Recruitment are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teachers to work in secondary schools in and around the Stroud area. We have a range of opportunities available for both part–time and full–time teachers, starting as soon as possible and also from January 2026.

Tradewind Recruitment works with a wide variety of secondary schools across the Stroud area, meaning we can find placements close to your home and suited to your career goals.

Key Information:

Start dates: As soon as possible or January 2026

Full–time and part–time roles available

Working hours: 8.30am–3.30pm, weekdays only

Pay between 165– 300 per day, depending on experience and role

Opportunities for short–term, long–term, or potential permanent contracts

We are looking for Teachers who:

Have a passion for education and Maths, and can make the subject engaging for students aged 11–18

Build positive relationships with students and colleagues

Demonstrate strong classroom management and clear communication skills

Show enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine love for teaching

Can inspire curiosity and critical thinking through innovative and inclusive lessons

Essential Requirements:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have recent experience teaching Maths at secondary level

Hold an enhanced DBS Disclosure and provide overseas police clearances (if applicable)

Provide professional reference checks (completed on your behalf)

CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible

Hold the legal right to work in the UK
