Position: Mathematics Teacher (Full–Time, Long–Term Contract)

Location: Maidstone, Kent

Start Date: ASAP Until July 2026

Pay Rates: Competitive and based on experience

Supply Desk are delighted to be working with a Good rated secondary school in Maidstone, known for its supportive leadership, dedicated staff, and commitment to academic excellence. The school is now seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join their hardworking department on a full–time, long–term basis from ASAP until at least July 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed teacher looking to make a lasting impact while working alongside a collaborative and forward–thinking team.

The Role

Teach engaging and inspiring Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, ensuring all students are challenged and supported to reach their potential.Take full teaching responsibilities, including planning, assessment, and contributing to the wider school community.Work as part of a supportive and high–performing Mathematics department, sharing best practice and maintaining strong communication with colleagues.Use effective classroom management strategies to create a positive and purposeful learning environment.Foster curiosity, resilience, and confidence in Mathematics, helping students develop key problem–solving and analytical skills. The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Specialism in Mathematics, with the ability to confidently teach up to Key Stage 5 preferred.Strong subject knowledge and passion for promoting a love of Maths.A dedicated and reliable teacher willing to take on full classroom responsibilities, including marking, assessment, and participation in departmental meetings.Excellent communication and organisation skills, with a proactive and flexible approach to teaching.Lives locally to Maidstone or within a commutable distance.
