Join Vision for Education as a Learning Support Mentor

Location: Bridlington

Salary: £350–£450 per week (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Contract Type: Full-time, Part-time, Long-term

Start Date: November 2025

About the Role

Vision for Education is seeking dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Mentors to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with students across primary, secondary, and further education settings, providing one-on-one or small group support to help them overcome barriers to learning. Your focus will be on assisting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, and those for whom English is an additional language.

Key Responsibilities

Provide tailored support to students, fostering their academic and personal development.

Collaborate with teaching staff to implement individualized support plans.

Assist students in developing study skills, resilience, and confidence.

Monitor and track student progress, adjusting support strategies as needed.

Maintain accurate records of interventions and communications.

Requirements

Experience working with children or young people in educational settings.

Familiarity with supporting students with SEND or SEMH needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt to diverse learning environments and needs.

A minimum of Level 3 qualification (A-level or equivalent).
