Description

SEN Learning Support Assistants / Teaching Assistants

Mainstream Primary, Secondary & SEND Schools

Part–Time & Full–Time Roles Available

Long–Term Positions (with potential to become permanent)

We are currently recruiting SEN Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and Teaching Assistants (TAs) for a range of rewarding roles across mainstream primary, secondary and specialist SEND schools. These positions include both whole–class support and 1:1 support for students with additional needs.

If you are passionate about helping children and young people thrive, and you're looking for a long–term role that offers consistency, growth and the opportunity to make a real impact, we would love to hear from you.

What We Are Looking For

A Level 2 or Level 3 childcare/teaching assistant qualification is preferred, but we will also consider candidates with strong relevant experience working with children or young people.

Experience in any of the following areas is highly desirable:

ASD / Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

ADHD / ADD

SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)

MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties)

SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties)

PMLD (Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties)

SpLD (Specific Learning Difficulties – e.g. Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia)

SLCN (Speech, Language & Communication Needs)

HI (Hearing Impairment)

VI (Visual Impairment)

BSL (British Sign Language)

Global Developmental Delay (GDD)

Challenging behaviour / behaviour mentoring

Emotional regulation support

Physical disabilities / medical needs

Personal care / moving & handling / hoist training

Working with non–verbal students or those using alternative communication (PECS, Makaton, AAC)

If you have worked as a tutor, support worker, nursery practitioner, sports coach, youth worker or carer, your experience may also be highly relevant.

What We Offer

A variety of long–term placements, with many roles leading to permanent employment

Opportunities across mainstream and specialist SEND settings

Supportive school environments committed to staff development

Free Team Teach training for all staff, offered as part of our group of companies

Roles that offer genuine purpose and the chance to make a meaningful difference to students' lives

Consistency is vital for the children you will be supporting, so most positions are long–term with the opportunity to grow within the school.
