We are looking for Temporary and permanent staff.

Are you a dedicated graduate with a passion for education and supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join an outstanding secondary school in Southwark as Teaching Assistants. This role involves working with students aged 11-18 who have SEND, providing invaluable support and assistance within the classroom environment.

Position: Teaching Assistant (SEND) Location: Southwark, London School Rating: Outstanding Age Range: 11-18

Responsibilities:

Assist and support students with SEND in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning objectives.

Work closely with teaching staff to implement individualised learning plans and accommodations for students.

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during lessons and activities.

Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Collaborate with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other professionals to meet students' needs effectively.Requirements:

A degree qualification (minimum 2:1) in any subject.

Passion for working with children and young people, particularly those with SEND.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
