Are you a former Police Officer looking for a rewarding new challenge? Empowering Learning is seeking confident, resilient, and professional individuals to work as Cover Supervisors across a number of Secondary Schools in the Halton and Widnes area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your communication, leadership, and behaviour management skills in an educational setting - supporting young people and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Role Details:

Positions: Daily and longer-term placements available

Settings: Secondary schools across Halton and Widnes

Start: Immediate and ongoing opportunities

Hours: Monday to Friday, school hours (term time only)

What You'll Do:

Supervise classes during teacher absences

Deliver pre-set lessons and ensure lessons run smoothly

Manage classroom behaviour using calm, authoritative communication

Build positive relationships with students and staff

About You:

Background in policing, security, or similar public service

Confident communicator with a professional and adaptable approach

Able to engage and motivate students of different ages and abilities

Reliable, punctual, and committed to supporting schools and young people
