Job description:

We're seeking a creative and enthusiastic graduate to join our graduate programme, partnering with a warm and inclusive SEND provision in the Denton area of Newcastle, where you'll play a key role in supporting and inspiring young learners.

The provision caters for children aged 3-19 with additional needs including complex and multiple learning disabilities and difficulties, speech, language and communication needs, physical and sensory needs.

Creative Graduate Role & Responsibilities:

* Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils

* Contribute to developing a creative curriculum where creative learning opportunities are available for all pupils

* Support pupils in small groups and on a one-to-one basis whilst responding to their individual needs

* Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate

Non-negotiables:

* Must have obtained a 2:2 or above in degree

* Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills

* Experience in one or more creative subjects (Music, Drama, Sports, Art, Creative Writing, Psychology)

* Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher and as part of a wider team
