Location: Rotherham, S60

Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a proactive Cover Supervisor to join schools in Rotherham (S60), starting immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced Cover Supervisors (CS) to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor:

Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the regular class teacher.

Maintain classroom behaviour and ensure students stay on task.

Provide brief feedback to teaching staff on lesson outcomes.

Support students in their learning and promote a positive classroom environment.

Be flexible across different subjects and year groups.

Requirements for Cover Supervisor:

Have previous experience working with young people, ideally in a school or education setting.

Be confident in managing classroom behaviour and using their initiative.

Be adaptable and reliable, with excellent communication skills.

Be enthusiastic about education and able to engage students in learning.

Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.

A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
