2 owners, one in japan and only me in uk. Dry stored for most of its life in Japan, minor service history but it’s been maintained to a very high standard since my ownership. It was imported with 52,000 miles on the clock currently sits at 75k, converted from km to miles by Oakleaf automotive (where the car was purchased) when the speedo was re calibrated to mph. Fuel cut defender not installed so currently still limited to 180kmph. Serviced regularly by dubforce tuning.
Recent full service including front and rear diff oils, transmission and engine oil, coolant, belts, coil pack, maf sensor, knock sensor, lambda sensor, brembo discs and pads all round. Bearings all round. All OEM parts at a significant cost, if you know you know. Hayward and scott cat back system fitted at extreme scoobies, gutted decat downpipe due to blockage, not yet replaced with sports cat or retuned for decat. Minor overrun and small pops and gurgles but never bangs. Cam belt done at 52k by Subaru dealership South Woodford. Compression tests done recently last time sparks were replaced and all within 1%.
RG362 Forged BBS in good condition but not perfect. Never been curbed but a few minor stone chips here and there.
I replaced the OEM wind deflectors which are incredibly rare and hard to get hold of.
The car is as standard with the exception of the H&S system and decat.
Stronger STi JDM internals and as standard offers 280bhp, whilst decat the turbo spoils quickly and it all sounds beautiful.
Same as the Impreza sti, 2.0L EJ20 engine with 4 pot front brakes. 4EAT gearbox, diff lock and power mode. Strictly only ever run on shell power.

The car is 20 years old yet feels incredibly punchy and responsive, but it’s not show room condition. The body work is in good condition, zero rust underneath and sealed in Japan by previous owner. It’s my second vehicle and stored in a garage, used for weekends when I have the time. It’s meticulously maintained and an incredible vehicle. Very fast but never ragged and certainly lots of fun. Turns lots of heads and is a limited run like the mk2 sti foz - only 800 made. Has the original jdm flare to go with it amongst other Easter eggs. Very rare car and only a few in the UK! Chance to own a bit of Japanese Subaru history!

Front bumper needs respray, age flake, scratches and superficial damage to n/s front bumper due to cyclist crossing a green light and his metal peg collided.

I’m in no rush to sell, I love this car through and through. Just starting to feel like I’m not doing it justice. Due to circumstance I’m using it less and less, seems such a shame. I’m in two minds about the sale but will list anyway and see how it goes. I’m open to sensible and reasonable offers, this is a lot of car for the price tag. Test drives obviously welcome but I’ll be driving.
Tax is £240 a year. Insurance is cheap for a 2.0 and MOT expires April 2021.
