Description
Neurodiversity Speaker | Lived Experience Storyteller
I'm a neurodiversity speaker helping organisations better understand what it really means to be neurodivergent, particularly ADHD and how it interacts with autism and dyslexia, both in the workplace and in everyday life.
Everything I talk about comes from my own lived experience as a late diagnosed ADHDer with dyslexic traits, married to an autistic husband. Neurodiversity isn't something I just talk about, it's something I live every single day.
That's why audiences often tell me they finally get it. Rather than relying on theory alone, I use lived experience, storytelling and humour to show what neurodiversity actually looks and feels like in real life.
I've seen both sides of ADHD. The strengths that helped me build businesses to a £2.4 million turnover, and the challenges that contributed to me missing a smear test, leading to cervical cancer at just 29 and leaving me infertile.
I bring plenty of humour into my talks, not least by roasting my appearance on The Apprentice (through cringeworthy video clips), but also by using visuals to highlight some of my most ADHD moments and some of my husband's most autistic moments.
Every organisation is different, which is why I offer different styles of talk.
Some clients are looking for a practical, informative session packed with strategies, workplace examples and takeaways, while others want a highly visual keynote built around storytelling, humour and lived experience. Whichever style they choose, the aim is always the same: helping people better understand neurodiversity through real life rather than theory.
Alongside my workplace talks, I also speak at schools and education conferences, sharing my own journey of growing up feeling different without understanding why. My keynotes encourage education professionals to look beyond behaviour, recognise potential and understand the lifelong impact they can have on a child's confidence and sense of belonging.
Whether I'm speaking to senior leaders, managers, HR professionals, teachers, parents or employees, my aim is always the same. I want people to leave understanding neurodiversity better than they did when they walked into the room, with a different way of thinking about the people they work with every day.
Above all, I want audiences to leave with a greater appreciation that different brains don't need fixing, they need understanding.
