2013 Skoda Roomster 1.6 TDI SE Euro 5 5dr MPV Diesel

I bought this Roomster in November 2023 originally as a stopgap but I ended up keeping it as I absolutely loved it. I’m now moving to London so no longer have a need for a car.

It has been fantastically reliable and brilliantly versatile – the seats can be folded, double-folded or completely removed to effectively create a small van. It really is like a tardis inside.

Everything works as it should. The only slight niggle I’m aware of is that sometimes the drivers window will go down when you press up, but it quickly sorts itself out again. Probably a loose connection behind the switch but not one that played up often enough for me to get it fixed.

I get mpgs in the 50s and 60s on a motorway run, though you can get more or less depending on how aggressively you drive.

Cosmetically, outside the car is generally a 7/10 I would say mainly because some kind soul decided to put a long scratch down the driver’s side which you can see in the photos. Apart from a few chips the paintwork is otherwise in good condition except around the rear bumper and load lip, and a little on the front bumper in the corners. It’s not terrible but I always try to be thorough in my description to avoid unnecessary disappointment and haggling. The alloys are in generally good shape.

On the interior, I’d say 8/10 in the front and rear seats, and 6-7/10 in the boot where some of the black plastics on the sides of the boot are a bit scratched in places from loading/unloading, and there are some black marks on the headliner which may or may not come out with a scrub.

The original radio has been replaced with a basic Android unit which does Navigation, Radio, Bluetooth, Android Auto and (I think – I don’t have an iphone) Apple Carplay. However the processor is a bit slow on it so I only really used it as a radio and to play media via Bluetooth and a USB stick. I think I still have the original radio but I can’t guarantee it. It’s in London at the moment though so I would have to post it after the transaction.

The latest MOT is shown in the images and is good until February 2026. Since the last MOT the rear pads and discs have been replaced and the front tyres have also been replaced with new only 4 months ago so virtually new. There is loads of tread still left on the rears too so shouldn’t need replacing any time soon.

Deliberately priced low for a swift sale and to leave some money for the buyer to replace front brakes/pads and inner tie rod end at the next MOT if necessary.

Freshly valeted inside and out. Two keys although again one is in a box in London so I will post it to you after you collect if I haven’t had a chance to get it before.

Service History as below. As you can see it’s been well looked after during my ownership and hasn’t missed a beat. Battery is less than 2 years old and still under warranty. Starts first time every time. No oil loss, no leaks, no funny noises. Drives great and surprisingly nippy.
