Mechanical Fitter / Sheet Metal Worker
We're looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter / Sheet Metal Worker to join a leading Defence & Aviation client on a contract basis. Work on exciting helicopter maintenance and modification projects, both on and off-aircraft, in a highly regulated environment.
What you'll do:
Manufacture and assemble parts from sheet metalCarry out on and off-aircraft repairsWork closely with the design team to implement modificationsAssist with hangar operations and aircraft movements
What we're looking for:
Rotary Aircraft experienceExperience with aerospace sheet metal workAbility to read mechanical drawings and work to tight tolerancesRiveting and fabrication experienceFlexible, reliable, and detail-focused
