Description

Our client, a prominent entity in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a skilled HR Advisor to join their team. This contract role within the Maritime Services business unit offers a unique opportunity to contribute to critical projects in a hybrid working arrangement, requiring 2-3 days on site per week at Broad Oak.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing comprehensive HR advice and support to business units within the Maritime Services sectorManaging employee relations issues and ensuring compliance with HR policies and proceduresSupporting recruitment processes, including interviews and onboarding of new staffAdvising on performance management, employee development, and retention strategiesMaintaining up-to-date records and HR documentationCollaborating with managers to address workforce challenges and develop effective HR solutionsEnsuring all HR activities comply with relevant legislation and regulatory requirementsContributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function

Job Requirements:

Significant experience in HR advisory roles, ideally within the Defence & Security sectorStrong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionProficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with employee relations and conflict resolutionAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamSecurity clearance level BPSS + SC in Flight
