Are you passionate about Fresh Produce and building strong relationships with both retail customers and suppliers?

We are seeking a Technical Account Manager to take ownership of key product categories. In this role, you will work directly with retail customers to manage product quality, compliance, and technical requirements, while also collaborating with growers and suppliers to ensure consistent supply, innovation, and continuous improvement.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, professional, and approachable individual who enjoys working with people at all levels and thrives in a fast–paced environment. While there is no team management responsibility, you will have full accountability for your categories and the opportunity to influence both customer satisfaction and supplier performance.

Technical Account Manager Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with retail customers, growers, and suppliers to ensure product quality and specifications are metMonitor, communicate, and resolve any quality issues, complaints, or rejections with clear recommendations and action plansManage technical documentation, due diligence, and customer specifications for assigned product categoriesCollaborate with cross–functional teams to support new product development and drive innovationCapture competitor activity and market insights to inform product and category strategiesEnsure sustainability, ethical, and technical standards are met across suppliers and product linesTechnical Account Manager Key Requirements

Proven experience in Fresh Produce and retail account management from a technical perspectiveStrong understanding of product specifications, quality standards, and supplier managementHighly professional, approachable, and dynamic, with excellent communication and organisational skillsComfortable working independently, managing multiple stakeholders, and thriving in a fast–paced, varied roleAmbitious and motivated, with a desire to make a significant impact and grow within the businessThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward–thinking team, combining retail customer management with supplier collaboration, technical expertise, and commercial insight.
