First off. I would not claim that this car is concours.
What it is, is a very honest 1992 Saab 900 light pressure turbo.
Its MoT'd until the end of March 2018, with no advisories.

I am offering it for sale, very regretfully. Long story short, I bought the car from a Saab
enthusiast just before Christmas. I have extremely painful disc injuries and I thought any Saab would be okay as a daily driver. Turns out I was wrong. I simply don't fit and twisting to enter or exit causes me too much pain. My loss can be your gain.

I've driven this car over the Christmas period, for several short journeys, totaling less than fifty miles. How well it pulls, really surprised me. It inspires confidence. Very well planted on the road, but will accelerate quickly when you want it to. You will find that it’s an absolute pleasure to own and drive, ridiculously comfortable, built like a tank and truly makes you stand out from almost every other bland car on the road.

It’s a 900S 16v, light pressure turbo with manual gearbox that starts and stops beautifully and will make you smile every time you look at it. It’s got an MOT until the end of March 2018, full service history and only 7 previous owners. It’s covered around 140k miles although the new turbo cluster states 130k.

The Saab enthusiast (seller) had the following done recently

Welding to get everything back on track.
Complete service with new radiator, thermostat, belts, oil etc and loads of general sorting out inc replacement brake discs and pads.
Window regulators and sunroof worked on and all operating well.
New correct battery.
New dashboard (less cracking)
Wax oiled pretty much entire underbody.
Lowered Abbott Racing springs.
Bilstein shocks.
Decat and full stainless Jetex manifold and shotgun exhaust.
17” Driftworks 5 spoke alloys and new Kumho tyres.

If all that wasn't enough. To make it a bit more special in the future, it comes with about £1k’s worth of kit to convert it to a full pressure T16 with bodykit
This includes Turbo, injectors, ECU / APC, Intercooler etc.
The Turbo cluster and 3 spoke steering wheel have already been installed.

Things to tidy up:

Front passenger arch needs welding as so rust still there.
Bonnet - minor bubbling on edges.
Paintwork is solid over all but not perfect.
Instrument cluster night illumination not working.
Trip not working.
Washer pipe fallen off - small Y hose link required
Sunroof headlining loose and droopy

All in all, an amazingly solid classic Saab with loads of potential. It’s in one of the best original colours - Scarrib Greeen. With a pretty perfect grey velour interior. And set off by the driftworks alloys.
The seller was recommissioning the car for his son's first car. Until he started calling around for insurance quotes. That nixed the project. That's why I bought the car, unseen. The fact that the father was giving it to his son.

To reassure you on the quality of the work done. It was carried out by the very highly regarded folks at Malcolm Miles. Probably the best regarded Saab specialist in the North of England. This was only the latest of several cars that Malcolm Miles had rescued for the Saab enthusiast seller.

If you're looking for an iconic Saab 900, you definitely want to consider this car.
Good 900's are making around £6,000, with Aeros starting at around £10,000. That's IF you can find an Aero.
I'll have the car up on a ramp this week and will post additional photos afterwards.
A video of the car will be available to genuine enquiries.

If you have any questions, I'll answer them as best I can. The last two photos show the places where some cosmetic work might be done, if you choose.
I have no problem shipping the car back to mainland GB. However, full payment must be cleared first. I have a very trustworthy car transporter business on my doorstep that charge about £250 +Vat to transport a car to the Midlands. Further south around London is about £350 +Vat.

Providing the car makes very close to my asking price, I'll help with shipping charges.
I will only consider offers VERY CLOSE to the asking price from buyers who can complete quickly. I'm happy to store the car for a short while if you need me to.

Sincere thanks for reading and if you are genuinely interested, please email me in the first instance. Silly offers will be ignored. Sorry, can't accept a p/x.
