Hi Guys,
Does anyone have room for my beloved Rover 75 Tourer Connoisseur SE now 24 years old. Never let me down for the past 20 years and been driven most days.
I was 90yrs. in May and because my wife and I rarely go anywhere these days, it is silly to keep the 75 on the road. We have a Honda Jazz, my wife’s car, for the local runs to Bury St Edmunds 4miles away!
The Rover has clocked up 171,000 miles but engine still runs as sweet as ever.
But for a dent in the passenger front door, the exterior is almost immaculate. The Rear sills have been professionally rebuilt using the available replacement sills and jacking points.
The front sills although not that bd will one day require replacing.
The rear passenger door will not unlock. The lock just clicks.
The front discs and pads will need replacing before an MOT pass in September
There is a leak on the air cooler system, top up does not last very long.
That’s about it, interior is very good although the head lining has sagged. My DIY repair keeps it in place. Good tyres all round including a proper spare!
I have removed our private number plate and replaced it with the original
