M??ller Yogurt & Desserts which is the UK's leading yogurt manufacturer which aims to create millions more M??ller moments for its consumers. It is responsible for major brands like M??ller Corner, M??llerlight, M??ller Bliss, M??ller Rice, FRijj and M??ller Kefir Smoothie and produces chilled desserts under licence from Mondelez International. It also supplies the UK private label yogurt market from a dedicated, state of the art yogurt facility.

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader (PLFM) to join us at our Severnside Dairy

Salary: Competitive

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off

Location: Severnside

Job Purpose:

To provide leadership, support and coaching for packing & processing teams throughout the shift to ensure the smooth running of operations, delivery of the daily production plan and to be responsible for leading the flavoured milk teams in terms of performance, compliance and company policy

Responsibilities will include:

Ensure legal compliance procedures and relevant company policies are followedDemonstrate and promote the company values and principlesConsistently follow the company disciplinary, grievance and attendance management procedures.Manage the performance of Flavoured Milk team and achieve 100% completion of "Job chats" with all relevant staffActively manage employee coaching, training and development to provide effective succession planning and develop a high performing team.Actively ensure that all shifts within your area of control are appropriately resourcedManage team holiday requests and provide timely feedback. Ensure that all asset care and start up tasks are effectively carried out To effectively manage performance using the defined short interval control procedureWorking with the Engineering Planner to ensure all equipment is compliantCoach and lead PLFM teams to achieve the daily performance targets.Influence all customer facing staff to represent the business positively in terms of service, appearance, professionalism and courtesy.Lead site teams to meet customer specifications and requirements.Ensure staff conform to the company standards of hygiene, PPE and dress code.Contribute to the achievement of internal and external audit accreditation.Provide timely and professional responses to customer complaints.Ensuring the right product at the right time, first time for Filling Hall production.Liaising with internal and external customers and departmentsCreate and enabling team to seek out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to own OPEX projects aligned to site business plan
