Material Planning Analyst

An exciting job opportunity has arisen at a world leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment. The role is a Material Planner on a 24 month rolling contract. The role is paying £16.22 and hour (PAYE) and £23 an hour (Umbrella). You will be working 37.5 hours a week on day shifts. Monday to Thursday (Fridays off) working 07:00am til 16:45pm but a 17:15pm finish on Mondays.

The role

Participates in scheduling production and delivery processes in accordance with current productivity and cost efficiency standards.

Develops and executes material planning for a product line to ensure that all material requirements for assigned programs are met within the allocated time frame.

Organises the flow of materials within the manufacturing unit and the transferring of materials to and from the inventory or warehouse.

Generates forecasts and manages replenishment planning for parts and materials to ensure specified service levels are met.Requirements

Experience in Microsoft Office packages

Experience in SAP is desirable

Previous experience in a material planning/buyer role

Supply chain experience/ transferable skills
