Yongkang Haili 250cc
12 months mot
New battery
Battery tray has been widened to accommodate the new battery
New grips
New HT lead and cap (leads a bit long, but it’s tied up on the frame)
New plug
New carb
Just had the oil changed
New indicators
New Wing Mirrors
The seats been recovered, might spray some waterproofer on it
4 gears plus reverse
Starts on the button from cold
Fairly nippy and will sit at 30/40 all day
It’s rough and ready, but it is ready to go.
Apparently it’s done most of its life riding round a fishing pond collecting money, since then I believe whoever had it prior to me took the plastics off with a chisel and painted it with their eyes closed
I’ve repaired them to a reasonable extent
It is what it is,
If you’re looking for something on par with a Raptor or an LT look elsewhere
If you just want something to razz around a field and ride from the field back home legally this is what you are looking for
