Building:
The ‘bothy’ was occupied up until thirty years ago by a shepherd and the building has since been well maintained with many improvements made by the owner.

Main building 10m x 4m
Front porch: 2m x 2.8m

Internally there are three rooms with each one approximately of the same floor area. The middle section was used as a sitting area and had a solid fuel stove which was removed years ago but the concrete base and chimney remain functional.

Construction:
Corrugated galvanised zinc sheeting on a timber frame. Internally lined throughout with hardboard, the floors of the main building are wooden flooring boards which if machine sanded properly and varnished would show up well. The porch has a concrete floor.

External:
In 2007, the roof and porch were renewed with profile box cladding with the rain water guttering and down-pipes also renewed. The front door and windows were also renewed. The stone found was reinforced with shuttered concrete.

The building was painted internally and externally in July 2023.

The plot is on its own quarter acre feu and has planning in principle to build a house.
