Description

SEMH / SEN Primary School Teacher (KS2 & KS3) who has sound knowledge of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage, and experience working with children with Social, Emotional, Behavioural and additional needs, is required to join Clannad, a small independent school in Orpington.

Candidates will ideally have experience of teaching Maths, Art and Music.

SALARY: £27,000 – £33,000 per annum

LOCATION: Orpington, Bromley, South East London

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a SEMH / SEN Primary School Teacher (KS2 & KS3) who has sound knowledge of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage, and considerable experience working with children with Social, Emotional, Behavioural and additional needs.

The organisation are looking for a SEMH / SEN Primary School Teacher (KS2 & KS3) for a small independent school in Orpington, Clannad rated ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted. This is a small intimate learning environment that is well organised, calm and tranquil, creating a safe and nurturing environment in which pupils can work and learn.

As the SEMH / SEN Primary School Teacher (KS2 & KS3) you will find there is a broad and balanced curriculum in operation which engages with the pupils in a range of learning experiences, including learning outside the classroom, regular educational visits, and opportunities to contribute to the local community.

As the SEMH / SEN Primary School Teacher (KS2 & KS3) you will have:

Successful candidates must have Qualified Teacher Status

You will possess exceptional knowledge of working in a primary school setting

Have experience of working in a SEMH school

Ideally have experience of teaching Maths, Art and Music

You will need to have high expectations of behaviour and an ability to maximise all lesson time to provide students with high quality learning
