Here we have a really nice 986 Boxster 2.7 Tiptronic, in classic Arctic Silver with Metropole blue leather interior and a matching navy blue hood. This car has covered just under 97,000 miles over the last 22 years, averaging around 4,400 miles per year. It has a fantastic service history, with 18 service stamps in the maintenance record, the first 14 of which were from the supplying dealer Porsche Centre Exeter. The history file also includes 16 old MOT certificates, right back to 2004.
W973VTT has a few well chosen options fitted – cruise control, automatic air conditioning and leather seats being the main ones. It has benefitted from long term ownership by just 4 owners in total, and all in Devon and Cornwall.
We have just completed the following works to prepare the car for sale – Major service, new spark plugs and auxiliary drive belt, brake fluid change, new coolant radiators and AC condensers, replaced exhaust fittings and clamps, and replaced the rear brake pads.
The car drives very well indeed, with ample power from the 220bhp flat-six engine and smooth gearchanges from the Tiptronic gearbox, in both automatic and manual modes. The suspension is supple and delivers both a compliant ride and precise roadholding, and the brakes are powerful and progressive. All in all a great entry level 986 Boxster.
