We have changed our mind about our hedge and have a number of healthy mature approx 2m £25 each bare rooted Bay laurel and Pyracantha hedge plants for sale. From the shops a 90cm plant costs around £17.
Instant privacy, you wont need to wait for these plants to grow before you start enjoying the benefit of a private hedge.
Both these species are fantastic as they are hardy, easy to prune, great for privacy, grow well in clay soil and importantly dont need watering once established. They both can be vigorously cut back once a year to maintain their height and so can be easily maintained, with perhaps a second light prune during the year to keep them tidy.
The Pyracantha has lovely flowers and small berries for the bees and birds.
