An ideal choice for someone looking for a high quality, lightly used small-ish piano, this M110N model was built by Yamaha in England in 1996 and is in excellent condition throughout. Suitable for any level of player, we have carefully prepared this to be at its very best and to give the new owner many years of pleasure. If you’re looking to progress through the grades, or just to play for enjoyment then this piano will undoubtedbly encourage you to achieve your musical ambitions. The British made Yamahas from this era tend to have a slightly warmer tone than Asian built Yamahas, as is the case here and we rate these piano very highly. Video demo available on request.

Tone and tuning

This piano has a very pleasant tone with good balance between warmth and brightness and with even tone throughout the registers. Very good dynamic range for a piano of this size and the bass is pretty strong also. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440).


Keyboard and action

The full 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the action has been regulated to play smoothly across the whole keyboard with a light to medium weight action, which will suit any ability of pianist, including beginners.


Hammers and strings

Strings in excellent condition and not much wear at all in the hammers, see photos.


Sound board

Excellent condition, as new.


Case

The mahogany case has a satin finish and is in excellent condition throughout. Some very slight sun fading but hardly noticeable. A new matching adjustable stool will be included in the sale.


Dimensions

Approx 150 cm wide, 55 deep, 110 tall - a 'studio' sized upright with a fairly neat footprint - ideal for a small to medium sized room in the home.
